Consignment Stores: an option to consider for resale

3218 Broadway, Pearland TX 77581

I like the concept of consignment stores acting as a selling agent for me, where items are priced and placed on their retail floor… it beats yard sales and Craigslist. The split can range anywhere between 35/65 to 50/50. Not bad for not having to provide consumers with sales and professional knowledge, as well as the merchandising necessary for showcasing your valuables.

At Hidden Treasures, they will contract your merchandise for up to 6 months. After the sixth month, they will reduce the item by 50%. Prices are agreed upon with consideration given to the condition, style, color, and demand for your items. Where most consignment businesses accepts decorative items, furniture, glassware, collectibles, and kitchenware, there are others who also accept toys and clothing. And make sure they offer payment plans such as layaway and 90 days same as cash, you want to be competitive with the major retail outlets.
